Unsworth 2. It’s going to happen.

I threatened that the e-book might come out on December 8th. And I do mean the one of this year.

Yes, it’s going to happen. Every wheel has been set in motion for you (and I stopped watching before I got dizzy). Things look promising: the book is already up for preorder in several e-book stores online. I’ve seen it on Apple, Kobo, Amazon and B&N so far.

So what is this book about?

Unsworth Manor has been abandoned. A war has left its ugly scars everywhere across Europe, many people are picking up the pieces and rebuild their lives. What will happen to the Manor? And who is Avery Montague? Follow the experiences of this wartime airplane pilot, who wants to settle down in England and make the best of life, and how he discovers the past of the building in “More Unsworth Manor Nudes”.

As you see, there’s something for everyone. Airplanes (not really), war (in a way), a Manor (definitely) and a pilot.

Finally. More historic fiction coming your way.

Okay, it’s not going to be tomorrow or next week, but I’ve finally gotten to the end of all the edits, changes and improvements for The Unsworth Manor Nudes follow-up story. Eternal thanks to Mr Ted Bun for all the work and support!

Next thing I am going to worry about it to come up with the cover for the book. I already have some ideas, so that’s a good thing. Now all I need it time. 😀

And then, I kid you not, I am planning to write more historic naturist fiction. I already know what that will be about, I just need (yes) time to do more research. And more tea. Which I will get now.

I admit. When I go mad, I go mad.

Long time ago I heard that the famous (infamous?) book “Fifty shades of grey” had been written on a smartphone. Really. No kidding. Look here.

Because of that, I had a mad idea. I wanted to write a story on a phone also. If my story will be as successful as Fifty Shades, I’ll be a happy chappy.

Well… I did it. Today I wrote the final words of that story. Over 62.000 words of story, all written on my phone.

Did I say I’m mad yet?

The story is a science fiction, alien encounter story, so everyone who hates SciFi can stop reading now. 😉 I’ve already found someone who offered to look the story over and point out the stupid bits I put into it, so the story’s not ready to be published yet. You can bet there are plenty of mistakes and typos in the text, but that is all going to be fixed.

For those who like science fiction, this is probably going to be the cover of the new book. I’m still messing with it, so don’t get your non-existent knickers in a knot if the thing looks different once the final product is unleashed into the wild, okay?

It wouldn’t surprise me if I am going to write a follow-up to it some day because the story has a very open ending.

Good news for SciFi fans, right?

Of course I’m doing more writing. After all, Unsworth Manor part 2 isn’t done yet, and that’s an important bit of history as well!

I guess that’s enough for one post. I hope you’re all doing well, and you’re as naked as you can. It’s not in the books here any more. Temperatures went the wrong way. Oh well, I’ll crank up the heating once in a while.

Have fun out there!

A reason to post something here on Naturist Writings

Yes, it’s true. I have something to tell you and it is a good thing.

Aglow

Aglow, by Will Forest

It is the thing called Naked Crow 7. My friend and fellow author Will Forest has managed to fight his way through the manuscript and point out where I did dumb things, used wrong words and such things. That is the life of the editor which can be a lot of fun.

I’m currently going through his comments and suggestions, which means that Naked Crow 7 is creeping towards completion and should be ready for reading consumption within the coming months. Hmm, does that make it read-y? Hmm? 😀

This of course means that I should start ‘worrying’ about the cover for the new Naked Crow book as well. Luckily I’ve had plenty of time during the rewrite of most of it to think about it, so I’ve gained some time there. There will probably be an arrow on it. And some other stuff.

Arrow

See? Just an arrow is a bit dull, isn’t it?

It looks like I have some work cut out for me for the coming days. Naked Crow 8 is in the writing phase so the series doesn’t end with 7, Unsworth Manor book 2 is coming along just fine (still no exploding airships) and the scifi I’m writing on my phone is coming to the point of the final battle, so to speak. Which in fact is going to be a proper battle.

(Oh, little tip: see the cover of Aglow up there? Click it. It will teleport you to Amazon where you can buy it. If you haven’t read it yet, you miss out on a good read.)

I am making progress. Really, I am!

Progress happens every day

You may think by now that I’m doing nothing at all. No new book has come out in ages. What the hell is that Walker guy doing?

Well, that Walker guy is writing. And I’m writing a lot. That’s the terror of having a vivid imagination and too many stories to fit in one day or week.

text editing

The sequel to The Unsworth Manor Nudes is progressing nicely. Each chapter is checked almost while I’m writing it (not really but as soon as one’s done I send it off to my fellow author Ted Bun of Rags and Riches fame). As soon as that’s all done the book will be nearly ready to be published – but that’s not where we are yet.

The seventh Naked Crow book is coming along well. I’ve finally reached the point where things come together. This has taken much longer than I had hoped, but when you get your non-existent knickers in a writing knot, you will have to undo all the knotting and rewrite. After cutting things back to almost 1000 words I’m proud to say that the story now is over 63.000 words (around 180 pages) so things look well in that respect.

The urban science fiction I mentioned a few posts ago (in the far past LOL!) is also growing. That’s over 53.000 words (150 pages) by now. Remember, I’m writing that on my phone, just for the challenge.

Paper change

image editingYes. I have moved all the paperback books from CreateSpace to Amazon’s printing service. CreateSpace is going to disappear so this had to happen. That too took up a lot of time because a few covers presented problems and once you have to mess with that it’s fun all the way from the start.

And so far the news for this post. I hope that I’ve reached the end of Naked Crow 7 by the next post but I doubt that. There’s still too much that needs to be written down, loose ends to be tied up, editing to be done and all that fun. But it’s coming. Before Christmas. I think. 🙂

Stay happy, stay nude!

Paul

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

A review on The Unsworth Manor Nudes

Accidentally I stumbled upon this review of my first historical naturist novel, The Unsworth Manor Nudes.

P.Z. Walker consistently weaves durable, engaging story lines into his finely developed books. This was especially delightful and fun as we follow this British family discovered the wholesome joy of nudism while in Germany and transported it to England in a wonderfully unfolding story that captured the early 1900s. It captures so well the social constraints of the time. May he continued to hold body freedom in yet more historical novels. This is a winner.”

This totally blew me away.

I am very proud of this.

The historical naturist fiction story

The historical naturist book

It’s really going to happen. It’s written and being distributed as you read this. August 1st it will be out there for everyone.

This was a very difficult one to write. So much history to go through, so much to look up and at and into.

Unsworth Manor, home of Cedric, Earl of Unsworth, his wife Margarete and their children.

Margarete, of royal German descent, receives an invitation to visit her distant relative, Emperor Wilhelm II. They decide to make the journey.

It will introduce them to a lifestyle that none of them had ever heard of before, but that will never leave them anymore.

I hope you’ll all like it.
